The successful candidate:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial support to regional Finance, Operations, and Senior Management.  The Financial Analyst reports to the Finance Manager and serves as a business partner to the regional CFO, CEO, COO, and operations department leaders.

The Analyst must be able to prioritize and efficiently complete multiple tasks in a timely manner. The Analyst must be team oriented and able to collaborate and effectively communicate across multiple teams.

Key tasks include, but are not limited to, supporting the regional forecast, annual budget, month end financial analysis, capital expenditure justifications, monitoring reimbursement with payors, supporting month end tasks in conjunction with corporate accounting and collaborating with revenue cycle in conjunction with centralized coding/billing and the patient accounts function, supporting local compliance and regulatory affairs and assisting with ad-hoc reporting and projects, as needed.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Education: BS/BA in Business, Finance, Accounting, or another business-related field

Minimum Experience: 1-3 years healthcare finance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Skills/Abilities: Key requirements of this role include excellent communication skills, people and process/project management skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure.  Must be able to effectively work independently as well as with others.  Must demonstrate strong time-management skills.  Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.  Must be able to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational.

Software: Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Suite, e.g., Excel and PowerPoint.
