The successful candidate:

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5:00pm

The Finance Director is a strategic leader who partners closely with executives, department heads, and clinical leadership across City of Hope Chicago—including the Comprehensive Cancer and Research Center and regional Outpatient Care Centers. This role is responsible for developing business cases and analyses that guide informed investments, strategic planning, and operational decision‑making to ensure the organization’s financial goals are achieved.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, or a related field (required)

Minimum Experience

  • 5 years of progressive finance management experience in a hospital or similar environment

Preferred Education

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Healthcare, Business, or a related field

  • CPA certification

Preferred Experience

  • At least 2 years in an executive‑level, senior finance, or senior accounting role

Software Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Working knowledge of Tableau
