Radiographic Aide I – Ultrasound/Imaging (Full-time, 4x10 shift)

Join our team as a Radiographic Aide I, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Ultrasound department. Responsibilities include assisting technologists and radiology nursing staff in coordinating patient flow, preparing exam rooms, managing supplies and linen, screening patients for exams/procedures, facilitating patient transport, and ensuring efficient exam room turnover. Additional Note: This position requires flexibility to accommodate varying patient needs. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. On-call responsibilities and mandatory overtime may also be necessary.

As a successful candidate, you will: 

  • Assist in verifying and accompanying patients from the waiting room to exam areas.

  • Prepare patients for procedures to include but not limited to contrast and metal screening, gowning and positioning.

  • Assist in procedure room preparation to include but not limited to stacking of linen, stocking of supplies, cleaning and disinfection of equipment, requesting of EVS and linen services as needed.

  • Coordinate patient transport, and transports patients as needed

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • High School or equivalent

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • Prior Customer Service Volunteer work is preferred.
