We’re seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our outpatient care team and provide supportive, patient-centered treatment.

 

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist I to provide high‑quality rehabilitative care. This role involves performing thorough patient evaluations, creating individualized treatment plans, and delivering appropriate physical therapy interventions. The Physical Therapist I will also educate patients and their families and ensure full compliance with all regulatory and professional practice guidelines.

 

 

As a successful candidate, you will: 

  • Screen patients to determine need for intervention and initiates referrals as appropriate.

  • Evaluate patients using appropriate age specific tools. Interpret data in order to plan treatment.

  • Establish goals and treatment plans based on evaluation data, rehabilitation potential, discharge plans, and in coordination with goals and plans of patient, family and other care team members.

  • Demonstrate skill and creativity in implementing patient treatment programs which are safe, effective, and efficient.

  • Modify treatment program according to patient needs and progress, terminates treatment appropriately, and develops appropriate discharge and post discharge plans.

  • Complete evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and third-party reimbursement reports per established departmental requirements.

  • Perform reassessments per established departmental protocols as necessary.

  • Collaborate with physician and other healthcare professionals to ensure ongoing integrated patient care.

  • Establish and maintains therapeutic relationships with patient and caregivers.

  • Attend team and family conferences; interprets pertinent findings and contributes to the development of a multidisciplinary plan of care.

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited school 

  • Entry level position, no experience required but interest in oncology preferred

  • Current Physical Therapist license in the State of California or PTLA status in the state of California

  • BLS Certification through the American Heart Association

  • For pediatric service, CCS Panel provider or complete application within 60 days of hire or when hours attained

Additional Information:

  • Salary Range: Pay Rate: $40-63 per hour
