Pay Rate:
Research Associate II: $33.99-52.68 per hour
Postdoctoral Fellow: $34.25-37.82 per hour

The Shiuan Chen Laboratory at the Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope, is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate II or Postdoctoral Fellow.
Dr. Shiuan Chen and his clinical colleagues recently completed a Phase II clinical trial to evaluate the chemoprotective effect of mushrooms against prostate cancer progression, together with mechanistic studies utilizing both in vivo and in vitro tumor models. The lab operates in a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary setting with close partnerships across clinical, computational, and translational research teams, and access to state-of-the-art institutional core facilities.

Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
RA II Candidates:
Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred.
Two years related research/laboratory experience with a Bachelor’s degree or one year related research/laboratory experience with a Master’s degree.
Postdoctoral Fellow Candidates:
PhD in cancer biology, immunology, molecular biology, or a related biomedical science.
Strong hands-on experience with in-vivo mouse tumor models (e.g., PDX, organoids, syngeneic systems).
Demonstrated record of scientific productivity through peer-reviewed publications.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative research environment.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
