The successful candidate:
Demonstrates the concern and responsiveness of the hospital in meeting the needs of patients by
following through on patient requests or complaints with the appropriate personnel and/or departments
to assist in improving service.
Education/Experience Level
- Associate's degree required, bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum two years' experience in healthcare or customer service-related field preferred
- Patient Advocate experience strongly preferred
Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft office products
- Excellent organization, creativity, latitude, independent thinking, personal judgment, and problem-solving skills
- Relationship building across all levels
