Hours: Sunday – Thursday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Job Summary
The Guest Services Representative consistently demonstrates high standards of patient care when at the Guest Quarters or Hospital Concierge Desk. He or she exhibits a warm, professional, and genuine welcome to our guests with eye contact and a smile, ensuring all questions and/or concerns are addressed with the highest level of customer service.
Representative works closely with, but not limited to, the Travel and Accommodations, Transportation, Security, Registration, and Financial Counselors departments.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Minimum Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment (healthcare or hospitality preferred)
Preferred Education:
Some college strongly preferred, with a focus in Hospitality or Hotel Services
Skills & Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with local activities and surrounding points of interest
Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals
Self-starter with excellent attendance and reliability
Ability to assist individuals with limited mobility (e.g., wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, luggage)
Positive, outgoing personality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Adaptable in a dynamic, changing environment
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Flexible schedule, including varying shifts, weekends, on-call, and rotating holidays based on business needs
Schedule subject to change based on operational needs
Software:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Basic typing/keyboard skills and familiarity with standard office equipment
