Our rapidly expanding, nationally recognized cancer institute seeks a full-time Infectious Disease Physician, at the Assistant of Associate Professor level, to provide clinical services at our Duarte campus and tele-ID consultative services to our other national sites in Chicago, Phoenix and Atlanta. We are seeking research and mission-minded physicians as every discovery we make, and every new treatment we create gives people the chance to live longer, better and more fully. HIGHLIGHTS

DUTIES

  • Clinical time is divided between inpatient, outpatient services and tele-ID service

·       Opportunities for clinical and translational research 

PAY & BENEFITS

·    Excellent benefits package, including a generous retirement contribution plan

·       Relocation assistance may be available 

·       Base salary range: Assistant level: $210K-$215K | Associate level: $225K-$250K

The salary range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits.  Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

Qualifications

·       M.D. or D.O. from an accredited educational institution

·        Possession of, or eligibility for, unrestricted medical license in the State of California

·       ABIM board certification in Infectious Diseases

·       Strong communication skills

·       Experience in transplant infectious disease - program that is heavily focused toward immunocompromised host infections (hematologic malignancy/ HCT)

·       1-2 years working within hematologic malignancies *preferred but not required

·       Graduating Fellows with significant exposure to transplant infectious disease during training strongly encouraged to apply!
