The successful candidate:
***This is a flexible PRN inpatient physical therapy role to cover every 2nd to 3rd Saturday a month for approximately 4 hours.***
Delivers individual comprehensive care to patients, utilizing therapeutic use of self, innovative technology, and collaboration among therapists. Responsible for providing leadership and mentoring to the rest of the rehabilitation staff, by coordinating, delegating, guiding patient care and patient /caregiver education to achieve an optimal level of function for each patient throughout the continuum of care.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy (PT) experience.
Education: Must have Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of Physical Therapy or an International Program that is substantially equivalent to the requirements of a physical therapist educated in accredited educational program as determined by the Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy.
Licensure: Must be a licensed as a Physical Therapy (PT) in the State of Arizona.
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Special Skills: Proficient computer skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
