The Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope invites applications for a talented Postdoctoral Fellow to join our dynamic research team. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that contribute to the advancement of medical science and have a direct impact on patient outcomes.

As a successful candidate, you will:

• Manage and coordinate multiple assigned research protocols, ensuring adherence to study requirements and timelines.

• Maintain current, accurate, and complete protocol documentation and communicate protocol updates and changes to investigators and study staff.

• Prepare, maintain, and submit regulatory documentation to institutional and study oversight committees, including IRB, DSMB, and PRMC/CPRMC.

• Compile, review, and submit study data using protocol-specific forms and systems in accordance with research requirements.

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients, visitors, investigators, and hospital personnel while ensuring strict confidentiality of patient information.

• Collect, label, process, and transport research specimens according to protocol requirements and safety standards, ensuring accurate documentation and handling procedures.

• Maintain knowledge of specimen processing requirements, laboratory procedures, and applicable safety practices.

• Coordinate protocol-related tests, procedures, and evaluations with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure compliance with study guidelines.

• Support patient recruitment and enrollment activities, helping to identify and engage eligible study participants.

• Perform study-specific research activities and protocol-related responsibilities as required by individual research projects.

• Participate in special data management and research projects as assigned.

• Monitor and support quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with protocol requirements, regulatory standards, and departmental performance expectations.

• Collaborate with investigators, clinical teams, and research staff to facilitate successful study execution and completion.

Your qualifications should include:

• Ph.D. degree in life or biomedical sciences, or a related discipline is required.

• Proven track record of successful research projects and publications.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
