Our dedicated and compassionate employees are driven by a common mission: To deliver the cures of tomorrow to the people who need them today.
The Executive Director, Decision Support and Analytics provides enterprise leadership for analytical consulting and decision support while serving as the system finance leader for the enterprise planning module. This highly visible role brings together leaders across the national organization to strengthen operating effectiveness, accelerate confident decision-making and advance financial planning and analytics capabilities.

Working with clinical, research, philanthropy, finance and system leaders, you will build the teams, tools, processes, data resources and frameworks needed to address complex decisions. The role also owns the planning, coordination, implementation and rollout of a new enterprise planning module supporting budgeting, cost accounting, episode analytics, management reporting and short- and long-range financial planning.
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Frame and analyze complex business, operational and financial questions, identifying opportunities aligned with City of Hope’s strategy and vision.
- Develop practical tools, analytical frameworks and quantitative insights that enable faster, more confident decisions across the system.
- Partner with finance and operations leaders on budgeting, strategic planning, capital allocation, new initiatives and other enterprise processes.
- Lead the implementation and rollout of the enterprise planning module, ensuring business objectives, timelines and budgets are achieved.
- Build new system-wide capabilities in reporting, business intelligence, dashboards, cost accounting, labor productivity, benchmarking and service line analytics.
- Collaborate with the enterprise technology group on data governance, system-standard data marts, data warehouses, reports and dashboards.
- Lead subject matter experts, internal and external consultants, and implementation partners to deliver defined business requirements and outcomes.
- Translate complex strategic issues into clear, actionable insights for senior executives and other key stakeholders.
- Build, develop and retain a high-performing analytical team that is recognized as a trusted partner for system decision-making.
- Direct and evaluate staff while supporting engagement, professional growth, accountability and a strong culture of partnership.
