Join our team as a Radiographic Aide I, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Breast Screening & Diagnostics Department / Women's Health Center. Responsibilities include assisting technologists and radiology nursing staff in coordinating patient flow, preparing exam rooms, managing supplies and linen, screening patients for exams/procedures, facilitating patient transport, and ensuring efficient exam room turnover. As a successful candidate, you will:
- Assist in verifying and accompanying patients from the waiting room to exam areas.
- Prepare patients for procedures to include but not limited to contrast and metal screening, gowning and positioning.
- Assist in procedure room preparation to include but not limited to stacking of linen, stocking of supplies, cleaning and disinfection of equipment, requesting of EVS and linen services as needed.
- Coordinate patient transport, and transports patients as needed.
Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
- High School or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Prior Customer Service Volunteer work is preferred.
