The Pirrotte lab is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our dynamic team as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Translational Genomics Research Institute. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the forefront of scientific discovery by developing innovative methods in single-cell proteomics and applying them to translational cancer research. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in mass spectrometry, cell biology, proteomics sample preparation, and advanced quantitative data analysis, with a particular emphasis on interpreting complex results. Bioinformatics expertise is considered a valuable asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize methods for single-cell proteomics.
  • Apply cutting-edge techniques to advance translational research objectives.
  • Conduct proteomics sample preparation and mass spectrometry experiments.
  • Perform data analysis and interpretation of results.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate bioinformatics approaches.
  • Disseminate results at conference meetings and author manuscripts.
