Seeking a skilled Research Associate to join Dr. Srividya Swaminathan's lab at City of Hope. We investigate lymphocyte processes and the immune microenvironment's role in lymphoid malignancy development, focusing on ALL and lymphomas. Our work spans Hematology, Oncology, and Immuno-Oncology, employing various techniques including mouse models, patient cells, gene editing, and single-cell sequencing. Lab funding comes from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the National Cancer Institute, and other foundations.

 

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Conduct experiments, maintain records.
  • Assist in monitoring mouse colonies' health.
  • Stay updated with new procedures from literature.
  • Contribute to research publications.
  • Help with lab maintenance and stock management.
  • Assist in training new lab personnel.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Immunology, Cell, Molecular biology or related field, with 2 years of post-degree research experience, or 1 year with a Master’s degree.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy in lab work, and robust record-keeping skills.
