The successful candidate:
Must be able to work Monday-Friday, 6:30a-3:00p.
Implement care for patients receiving therapeutic phlebotomy.
Collect blood specimens and blood cultures.
Care for patients with IV lines, central lines, and ports.
Utilize the EHR appropriately.
Ensure all documentation is entered accurately and in a timely manner.
Work as part of a team to facilitate communication and services between physicians, patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
Provide patient education using appropriate resources.
Document patient education in SCM.
Perform tasks as outlined in facility policies and procedures.
Comply with requirements from regulating agencies and best nursing practices.
Tasks include central line care, patient education, procedure assistance, and medication administration.
Administer medications via injection.
Use the 6 rights and medication bar scanner.
Monitor patients for side effects.
Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
Current Georgia RN license from an accredited college
BSN required or enrolled within 6 months of hire and BSN completed within three years from hire date
BLS (Obtain AHA certification within 30 days of hire)
