Job Title: Oncology Care Coordinator (Clinical Scheduler)
Location: Onsite – Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Oncology Care Coordinator to join our team in a fully onsite role. This position plays a vital role in supporting patient care by managing scheduling for patients, providers, and departments. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, compassionate, and capable of coordinating all aspects of oncology patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules for patients, providers, and clinical departments.

  • Conduct face-to-face interviews, telephone calls, and electronic communications to coordinate appointments and services.

  • Ensure all aspects of patient care are scheduled and documented appropriately, including pre-certifications for treatments and procedures.

  • Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient satisfaction and continuity of care.

  • Make informed decisions to meet patients’ healthcare needs efficiently and compassionately.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Preferred Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience working with complex scheduling systems or online computer applications.

  • 3–5 years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting, preferably in oncology or a related specialty.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling software.
