We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate I for Dr. Alexey Danilov’s lab who values teamwork but also aspires to become a project driver. Individuals with prior laboratory experience are encouraged to apply.

His laboratory investigates mechanisms of drug resistance in B-cell malignancies.  The laboratory focuses on the role of pro-survival pathways in this setting, and how this signaling can be targeted. In addition to a variety of in vitro models of the stromal niche, Dr. Danilov’s laboratory models lymphoid disease in vivo. The research is highly translational and involves work with primary samples from patients with lymphoid malignancies. Based on laboratory findings, the lab group originates early-phase clinical trials, allowing for verification of laboratory findings in the clinical setting.  The lab also conducts analysis of correlative samples from patients enrolled on clinical trials.  Dr. Danilov’s laboratory receives funding from the National Cancer Institute (R01), foundation grants and industry partners.
