The successful candidate:
Schedule:
Thursdays & Fridays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Sundays: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Remaining hours: Flexed and scheduled throughout the week as needed, based on business needs.
Position Summary
The Guest Services Representative consistently delivers exceptional patient and guest experiences at the Guest Quarters and Hospital Concierge Desk. This role requires a warm, professional, and genuine approach, ensuring every guest is welcomed with eye contact, a smile, and attentive service. The representative addresses questions and concerns with the highest level of customer care.
This position collaborates closely with departments including Travel and Accommodations, Transportation, Security, Registration, and Financial Counseling.
Qualifications
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Some college coursework strongly preferred, ideally with a focus in Hospitality or Hotel Services.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in a fast-paced customer service environment (healthcare or hospitality preferred).
Skills & Attributes:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
Familiarity with local attractions and points of interest.
Professional demeanor and ability to interact with diverse individuals.
Self-starter with a strong attendance record.
Ability to assist guests with physical needs (e.g., wheelchair escorts, oxygen tanks, luggage).
Positive, outgoing personality.
Able to work independently and collaboratively.
Adaptable to changing environments and schedules.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
Flexible availability, including varying shifts, weekends, on-call duties, and rotating holidays.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office equipment.
Basic typing and keyboarding skills.
