The Division of Transfusion Medicine is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead key initiatives in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and information systems integration. This pivotal role ensures operational excellence across all areas of the division, while maintaining alignment with institutional values and strategic goals.
As a successful candidate, you will:
Lead and manage staff responsible for quality, compliance, and regulatory affairs
Oversee the integration and compliance of Transfusion Medicine information systems and data across the division
Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and maintain licensing/accreditation through direct interaction with external agencies
Collaborate with the Director of Transfusion Medicine to implement strategic initiatives that support the division’s mission and vision
Drive continuous improvement in operational workflows and data integrity
Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
Bachelor of Science degree
5+ years of experience in Blood Banking and blood/cell therapy manufacturing (or equivalent regulated medical manufacturing environment) with 3 years of supervisory experience.
California license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Immunohematology limited license; or will obtain either California license within 6 months from date of hire.
