The Revenue Cycle Strategy Partner supports the development and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at improving revenue cycle performance across the City of Hope system. In this highly visible role, you will conduct in-depth analyses, identify operational improvement opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions. Working independently on moderately complex projects, you will play a key role in advancing revenue cycle transformation efforts and driving measurable business outcomes across the organization.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Lead and manage mid-sized strategic projects and workstreams, including planning, analysis, execution, communication, and performance tracking.
  • Develop project plans, milestones, and success metrics that align with organizational goals and revenue cycle improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis and performance assessments to identify trends, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Create executive-ready presentations and reports that support strategic decision-making and business priorities.
  • Perform market research, evaluate vendors, and assess innovative solutions to improve revenue cycle operations.
  • Partner closely with operational, IT, and finance teams to implement process improvements and technology-enabled solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization and serve as a trusted consultative resource for strategic initiatives.
  • Translate complex business challenges into actionable recommendations and data-driven solutions that support continuous improvement.
  • Support change management and communication efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and initiatives.
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts and provide guidance and support to team members as needed.

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; or
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Additional relevant experience may substitute for the minimum educational requirement.
  • Experience leading strategic initiatives, business transformation projects, or operational improvement efforts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working collaboratively across cross-functional teams in healthcare or complex organizational settings preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma, project management, healthcare analytics training, PMP, HFMA CRCR, or similar certifications are preferred.
