The successful candidate:
Schedule:
9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, 5 days a week
Rotating weekends and holidays
Position Summary:
The Culinary Service Representative provides culinary and dietary support for the organization and those under its specialized care. This role ensures a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment with an unparalleled level of customer service, creating a positive experience for all patients, caregivers, stakeholders, and guests. Responsibilities include handling all cash transactions for food items, maintaining and setting up serving and dining areas.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in Food and Beverage, Hospitality, or a high-volume hospital cafeteria setting (preferred)
License/Certification/Permit:
Currently dated Food Handler’s Permit from the County/State Health Department in which you reside, if required by the state
Certification from an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited food handler training program or obtained within 30 days of employment (Required in IL)
ServSafe certification (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
