The successful candidate:

Schedule:

• 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, 5 days a week

• Rotating weekends and holidays

Position Summary:
The Culinary Service Representative provides culinary and dietary support for the organization and those under its specialized care. This role ensures a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment with an unparalleled level of customer service, creating a positive experience for all patients, caregivers, stakeholders, and guests. Responsibilities include handling all cash transactions for food items, maintaining and setting up serving and dining areas.

Minimum Job Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Food and Beverage, Hospitality, or a high-volume hospital cafeteria setting (preferred)

License/Certification/Permit:

• Currently dated Food Handler’s Permit from the County/State Health Department in which you reside, if required by the state

• Certification from an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited food handler training program or obtained within 30 days of employment (Required in IL)

• ServSafe certification (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills

• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
