The successful candidate:

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Position Summary:
Responsible for the safe and professional transportation of patients, caregivers, and administrative staff in extended-length vehicles to and from various locations within a 70-mile radius of Zion, Illinois. This role ensures that passengers’ needs are met with exceptional customer service, promoting comfort and representing City of Hope in a positive and professional manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the Chicagoland area or ability to read and comprehend road maps

• Valid driver’s license for the state of residence

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement (preferred)

• Valid DOT medical certification (must possess or obtain upon hire)

• Excellent driving record for the past three (3) years

• Sound judgment and quick decision-making skills in situations involving inclement weather, ill passengers, traffic, etc.

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

• Working knowledge of defensive driving rules and techniques
