The successful candidate:

An Individualized plan of care is developed and implemented; utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.  Responsible for inspiring and guiding other qualified patient care team members to ensure enhanced outcomes through effective delegation in the exercise of his/her independent judgment. Nursing care addresses physical, spiritual, emotional and educational needs of the patient, and coordinates the plan of care with other healthcare professionals, support persons and all members of the healthcare team.

  • Collaborate with physicians, patient/families and members of health care team in delivering a plan of care

  • Utilize positive communication skills

  • Evaluate and update patients’ response to plan of care

  • Initiate, manage, and participate in discharge planning and patient/family teaching; work on various nursing units

  • Facilitate physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual care of patients

  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise individual care in a patient care area; provide individualized patient care based upon appropriate and developmental needs

  • Contribute to cost effective patient care by monitoring use of time, equipment and supplies.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in Nursing

  • NCLEX passing results or full unrestricted state nursing license

Wage = $35.19 - $48.00
