The successful candidate:

The Ultrasonographer is a professional diagnostician who works closely with physicians, nurses, and medical imaging technologists to accurately diagnose medical disorders and perform invasive procedures utilizing current technologies. 

Requirements:

Graduate of an approved school of medical ultrasonography with credentials in ultrasound (such as ARDMS-American Registry of Diagnostic Medical ultrasonographers) and at least one year clinical experience in medical ultrasonography required.

At least six months experience working with a medical doctor in performance of invasive ultrasound-guided procedures preferred.

Credentials beneficial, though not required, in any of the following fields: nursing, radiology, vascular or cardio-vascular.
