Under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator, or designee, the Research Associate I performs a variety of routine and increasingly complex research experiments.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Responsible for overseeing the collection, documentation, and quality control of patient-reported outcome data.

  • Collaborate with clinical PI, care team and patient advocacy to select appropriate quality of life measurement instruments and determine optimal assessment schedules to minimize patient burden and ensure data integrity. May modify protocols.

  • Facilitate questionnaires to patients. Help to analyze and summarize data. Help with PI to present at clinical conferences. Write standard operating procedures and reports and manuscript.

  • Maintains records of work performed including results and methodology; utilizing records may calculate, graph and compile data.

  • Develops techniques and expertise in one or more areas relevant to laboratory research project.

  • Ensures that all laboratory activities are carried out in compliance with safety procedures and guidelines in handling, storage and disposal of materials. 

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences.

  • 0-2 years of research/laboratory experience.
