The successful candidate:

Hours are Mon-Fri 8-430pm

Paraprofessional caregiver who works under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse. Assumes responsibility and accountability for activities of daily living, certain tests and procedures, environmental duties and other tasks as assigned.

Organizes and manages the activity at the nursing desk to support the nursing process and provision of care to the patient. Ensures accurate and timely order entry and the proper notification and coordination of the multidisciplinary team.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Six months prior experience as a Nurse Aide in a health care environment, a second-year nursing student, or six months prior experience in a medical setting.

  • Must have PCT certification or CNA license.

  • Current BLS (AHA) and CPR required.

  • Training as a Unit Secretary in a hospital or equivalent setting preferred.
