As a successful candidate, you will:

We are seeking an exceptional Technology Product Director to serve as the strategic bridge between technological capabilities and business objectives in our organization. This role leverages deep product management expertise in the health technology domain to guide cross-functional teams from idea inception through successful deployment of clinical care delivery solutions at enterprise scale. 

The Technology Product Director will work closely with senior clinical executives, business stakeholders, and technology teams to translate healthcare challenges into actionable technology roadmaps while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, technology organization strategy, and care delivery excellence. 

Technology Product Director are not only accountable for strategic and tactical vision, but also successful development, delivery, adoption, and value realization across the enterprise.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership & Business Alignment

  • Partner with senior clinical executives, business leaders, and cross-functional technology leaders to define and execute comprehensive product strategy for the organization, identifying opportunities which advance oncology, patient care, and operational efficiency

  • Guide business partners through structured idea inception processes, facilitating the translation of clinical needs into technology solutions

  • Drive all facets of product portfolio management, including comprehensive business-aligned tech strategy, prioritization, resource allocation, and investment decisions

  • Lead business case development and ROI analysis for proposed technology investments

  • Present solution options and recommendations to C-suite executives and clinical leadership teams

  • Represent technology best practice and subject matter expertise, providing leadership and guidance directing the implementation and meaningful application of advanced technologies

  • Represent the voice of the customer, understanding the organization’s current and future care delivery needs to drive and advocate for strategic technology investments

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap Development

  • Craft and execute ambitious technology roadmaps that align with organizational strategic objectives, inclusive of applicable KPIs / OKRs

  • Define product vision, strategy, and success metrics for all technology products used in delivering care and supporting the business (both vended and internally developed)

  • Prioritize feature development based on clinical impact, user needs, and business value

  • Establish and maintain product team operating, engagement, and governance frameworks

  • Manage client-facing communications, maximizing transparency and building trusted partnerships between technology and business/clinical constituents

  • Solution Design & Delivery

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, maintaining accountability for technology delivery and success, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and best practice

  • With proven history guiding buy vs. build discussions, develop and execute against data-driven decision frameworks and architectural patterns

  • Lead cross-functional teams through agile development processes

  • Partner closely with informaticists and trainers to support measurable stakeholder buy-in, clinical participation, and overall adoption/utilization

  • Ensure solutions meet regulatory requirements and clinical workflow standards

  • Oversee partnership with user experience design with focus on adoption, quantifiable outcomes, and continuous improvement

  • In partnership with Finance, drive value realization with key stakeholders

  • Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Leveraging a customer-first approach, facilitate alignment between clinical, business, and technology teams in the development and maintenance of Enterprise Technology Group technology pipeline

  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain transparency on project progress through highly polished professional communications channels

  • Build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups with competing priorities

  • Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of relevant professional experience may substitute for the degree.

  • 10+ years of product management experience at scale with at least 6 years specific to the healthcare technology domain (care delivery emphasis preferred, but not required)

  • 6+ years of people management experience leading product / execution teams
